About this product
The Pro-tect Flint is a 90 cm chain lock with ART 1 approval. That ART 1 approval makes the Flint particularly suitable as a second lock for more expensive bikes, such as cargo bikes and e-bikes. Weighing just 1235 grams, the Flint offers maximum security for minimum burden. The links of the chain also have a soft textile sleeve to prevent damage to the paintwork of your frame. The lock head has a sliding cover that keeps dirt and moisture out of the cylinder. With slide card. The ART 1 strength (security) level is comparable to the European standard for bike locks, EN 15496. Dutch bike theft insurers therefore regard an ART 1 approved lock as the minimum level of security with which an e-bike or cargo bike must be locked to something fixed when an extra (2nd) lock is required.
