Alarm chain lock ART 2

This ART 2 alarm chain lock from SXP will scare off thieves when they try to steal a bike or fat bike. The chain lock has a built-in alarm system, which is switched on and off with a simple turn of the key. Once switched on, the alarm is triggered by movement of the lock housing. At the first movements the lock starts with ten warning beeps. Does the chain lock keep moving after that? Then the alarm is activated, with the volume rising to 110 decibels. Perfect when the bike is parked in an area with a high theft risk. Is the theft risk minimal? Then the alarm is simply switched off, so you rely on the strength of the chain lock.   This powerful ART 2 approved chain lock has a hardened steel lock housing that resists lock picking, sawing and drilling. Combined with the 8.5 millimetre thick square alloy steel links, that makes the lock stronger still. To prevent frame damage while using the chain lock, the links are wrapped in a soft nylon sleeve. The lock cylinder can also be closed off from dirt and moisture with a sliding cover, so it stays clean and keeps working. Supplied with 2 keys. With slide card. How the alarm works. Starting position: the chain lock is open, with the lock pin out of the housing. Switching on alarm mode: put the lock pin into the housing and turn the key 180 degrees (locked). Do you hear a beep? Then alarm mode is activated in 15 seconds and the key can now be taken out of the housing. After 15 seconds a 2nd beep sounds to confirm that from now on the chain lock will alarm on movement. Do you hear no beep? Then turn the key 180 degrees (unlocked) and 180 degrees back again (locked). Now you will hear the beep and alarm mode will be activated in 15 seconds; the key can now be taken out of the housing. After 15 seconds a 2nd beep sounds to confirm that from now on the chain lock will alarm on movement. Switching off alarm mode: put the lock pin into the housing and turn the key 180 degrees (locked). Do you hear a beep? Then turn the key 180 degrees (unlocked) and 180 degrees back again (locked).
